THE SECULARISM OF NEHRU FAMILY
Nehru family says they stand for secularism. That citizens of India are all citizens of India irrespective of what religion they follow. In contrast, they allege BJP stands for a divisive ideology like the British. Pit majority Hindus against Minority religions like the Muslims which is dangerous for the country.
This is nothing new. The Congress party always maintained that they are secular. That is the reason why the Indians including the Hindus also stood with them. The problem is that the Nehru family members resort to back seat driving of democratically elected government. If this is for some public cause like common good, the people would have still agreed with the Nehru family. If the Nehru family is really concerned about the public, then there may be justification for them interfering in the Government functions.
